Before you can undergo plastic surgery, you must first complete a consultation with Dr. Yee at our Little Rock, AR, office. Dr. Yee will discuss several things during this consultation, such as your:

Types of Breast Implants
Breast implants are available in a variety of shapes and sizes to help you achieve the results you desire. Dr. Yee will work closely with you to personalize your surgery and help you choose the right type of implant. She will consider your unique aesthetic goals, body type, and concerns. Silicone Implants
Silicone breast implants are pre-filled with silicone gel, and although they are typically more expensive, many patients prefer silicone implants for their natural look and feel. Silicone breast implants sit higher in the chest and are typically undetectable to the touch.
If silicone breast implants break, it can take some time for them to deflate. Silicone gel cannot be absorbed by the body, so rupture may cause symptoms like pain and changes in breast shape. Implants should be removed (or removed and replaced) as soon as possible.
Gummy Bear Implants
Our Little Rock, AR, office offers Natrelle® 410 gummy bear implants. These are teardrop-shaped implants made up of a highly cohesive gel. Due to their shape and composition, these implants feel like natural breast tissue and provide a natural contour as they mimic the droop that occurs in the bottom half of breasts.
Gummy bear implants are less likely to rupture than silicone and saline implants, and often retain their shape if their shell is broken. Because of this, periodic screenings are often recommended to detect any problems.
Saline Implants
Saline implants are typically less expensive than silicone gel implants and are filled with a safe saline solution after they are inserted, so they require smaller incisions. They have a natural shape and are soft to the touch, but may feel firmer than silicone breast implants.
If saline implants break or leak, you will be aware of the rupture within a few minutes or hours because it doesn't take long for the implant to deflate. The saline solution can be safely absorbed by the body and the shell can be removed. We may be able to remove the shell and replace your implant in the same procedure.
