In addition to the traditional facial surgery procedures such as rhinoplasty, face lift and brow lift, Dr. Suzanne Yee also performs other facial plastic surgical procedures. Such procedures are otoplasty, or ear pinning surgery, chin and cheek implants, and facial liposculpture, or liposuction.

DR. SUZANNE YEE: In addition to the traditional surgical procedures, such as facelifts and brow lifts, we also do other facial surgical procedures, such as an otoplasty or ear pinning. We also and chin implants and cheek implants, as well as facial liposculpture, or liposuction. Otoplasty increases the child’s self-confidence. They’re not ridiculed anymore. They’re able to, if it’s a girl, they’re able to wear their hair back in a ponytail. We also do cheek and chin implants. And we can do these surgeries with other facial surgeries, or do them by their self. Sometimes patients will come in asking for a rhinoplasty, thinking their nose is very large, but then we’ll have a look at their profile on the computer image and notice that their chin is small, and they’ve never thought about that, because they never look at themselves in profile. And so we can add a chin implant to help balance the face. Occasionally, we do segmental liposuction or liposuction underneath the chin here and we notice that they have a small chin. So instead of, some patients are young, and instead of them needing a facelift, we may do some liposuction underneath the chin and also add a chin implant. It improves their profile tremendously. And it gives them a more fresh look and then, if they have a weak chin, it gives them a more strong appearance and it gives them a more masculine appearance. And that’s very attractive to.
